TAR is committed to serving the diverse interests of real estate professionals by helping the REALTOR keep what they earn, helping them become more professional at what they do, promoting their reputation and interests, and keeping the REALTOR® central to the real estate transaction. TAR owns and operates the Telluride Multiple Listing Service. This is the most desired tool in the industry and is among many of the benefits TAR provides its members. Licensed real estate brokers who are members of TAR, are therefore involved in a three-way agreement between TAR, Colorado Association of REALTORS and National Association of REALTORS.

Branch Office ApplicationTAR currently has 197 REALTOR members, while CAR (state) has over 30,000 and N.A.R. (National) has over 1.5 million REALTOR members. N.A.R. is the largest trade association in the United States and the largest in the world. N.A.R provides its members with professional resources and protects the real estate industry by supporting legislation advantageous to its members and home buyers and sellers.
